Emergencies during flying can occur any time. Cabin crew must be prepared to deal with any emergency situation at any time. Most emergencies can be dealt with if the cabin crew is alert, trained and has the ability to apply good judgement.

This course on Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) familiarises cabin crew with the emergency situations and provides standard procedures to control such situations.

    The course covers the following topics:


  • Describe the role of cabin crew at the time of emergency
  • Describe how the communication happens with the help of In-flight Emergency Communication
  • Describe what is panic and how to handle it in case of emergency
  • Familiarize yourself with the standard emergency procedures
  • State and demonstrate the sequence to be followed during an emergency situation
  • Recognize, identify, operate and locate the emergency equipment onboard the aircraft
